Get Over It
One of the most annoying and lazy ways to dress is to wear sports attire and ratty dirty looking shorts, with white socks that show, and dingy tennis shoes, or flip flops. Cargo shorts are a thing of the past and guys, you really need to get over it! Baseball caps do not replace brushed and washed hair, and good grooming habits. It does not look cute after a while, and it isn't like you are cheering for your team around the clock. Men, put more thought into how you present yourselves on a daily basis. You will be better respected, trusted more with responsibility, and be more attractive.

EvolutionMan
The EvolutionMan line focuses on a man's specific skin care needs. For example, the Conceal & Treat concealer stick covers blemishes or razor bumps and treats the skin with key ingredients such as green tea leaf extract and salicylic acid. Antioxidants, such as Vitamin A and E will also keep the skin looking young. The line even has a great moisturizing bronzer, that blends in so well, and contains SPF 20. This is perfect for men that work outside a lot, or travel for business, and still want to look healthy, and rested. You can't find bronzers for men very often, so this is surely something you would want to try. Also, the Revitalize Eye Gel truly works on puffiness and bags under the lower eye lid. Men want to look good just as much as women do, and these products, which I have tried, can be the solution.
My favorite product is the lip balm. It is much more emollient than your regular drug store brand, and is fragrance free. The SPF 15 will keep your lips protected daily, and extremely kissable (a little bonus). My husband consistently asks me if he can borrow it, and I am very reluctant to let him.
If I had to suggest a few products to try out first, I would say the lip balm, and either one of the moisturizers. In addition, if you want to do an extra step, get the Wash and Buff cleanser, to achieve the perfect shave. Then, if you like the products, invest in one of the kits, to really see a change in the appearance of your skin.

Need a Perfect Tie?
The Tie Bar has your solution.
The reason The Tie Bar is cool is because you can "try on" ties with different patterns/colors of shirts, and you can even add a suit into the mix, viewing it all right there, mixing and matching, for you to see. It is quick and easy, and also very fun. They offer bow ties, long ties, regular length ties, and ascots. They even have boys ties, pocket squares, cuff links and dress shirts.
Like the big-name neckwear designers, The Tie Bar releases six new collections each year under Lead Designer Greg Shugar. However, unlike the big-name neckwear designers The Tie Bar offers their 100 percent woven silk ties for just $15 each, a striking value for consumers watching their spending in this economy.
“With the new collection we really pushed the envelope to put out cutting edge designs,” says Shugar. “Quality and design comes first, it’s just an added bonus that the ties are such a value.”
They even offer a "Tie of the Month" club for yourself or gift giving, starting at $199.

Dr. Martens 50th Anniversary
Short History Lesson:
"Dr. Martens air-cushioned sole, designed by German inventor, Klaus Maertens, was the result of practical thinking; it was designed to meet the specific need of providing additional support and comfort for a broken foot."
"The Dr. Martens boot, manufactured by R Griggs and Co, British boot makers, with its trademark yellow stitch, grooved sole and heel-loop, was a boot for workers; comfortable, durable and lightweight in comparison to its competitors at the time."
"Initially worn by postmen, policemen and everyday workers, the boots were adopted, customised and used as a tribal emblem by successive subcultures, decade after decade. The 1460 became an immediately recognisable, UK product classic."
"The brand is still a family owned business; it is operating from the same location in Northamptonshire, England where the Griggs family first started their shoe manufacturing business in 1901. Dr. Martens also have a creative studio in London, offices in USA and Asia, and an extensive global distribution network."
We love Dr. Martens shoes and boots. Don't you? It is about time for a new pair. I want to see your favorite pair. Email them to me to be featured on this blog.

Dior Homme Spring 2008
Yes, Kris Van Assche showed his outstanding debut collection for Dior Homme. Mannequin-like the models stand stiff. Posing to carry out what the director dreamed. An artful show to reestablish a retro 1940s embellished style. These men are absolutely beautifully dressed. Head to toe they have a sense of stature. They have elegance. They have a deliberate existence. A modern superman without the red cape & the flamboyant bright side pieces. Other elements were added to this collection. The 80s double breast suit. A tiny Peter Pan Collar. With sleek calm & asymmetry all tied in gives it a lunatic type feel.
