Yigal Azrouël's first stylishly hot & trendy menswear-only show. The imperfect type look but deconstructed with no complaints from me. I love this whole look put together. The always in layered look for those who can pull it off. He threw in so many different elements as multi pocketed jackets etc. The biggest offset was his leather pants. Get this, they were so over washed that they became paper thin. Who'd a thunk. Sweaty leather pants could too be for a hot day. Azrouël is a trend Genius.

Yes, Kris Van Assche showed his outstanding debut collection for Dior Homme. Mannequin-like the models stand stiff. Posing to carry out what the director dreamed. An artful show to reestablish a retro 1940s embellished style. These men are absolutely beautifully dressed. Head to toe they have a sense of stature. They have elegance. They have a deliberate existence. A modern superman without the red cape & the flamboyant bright side pieces. Other elements were added to this collection. The 80s double breast suit. A tiny Peter Pan Collar. With sleek calm & asymmetry all tied in gives it a lunatic type feel.

Superhero is always hot and on this website it is still in trend. Or maybe I just love the way Alexander McQueen worked out the beautiful pieces in this collection. It is fancy yet bold, dark and grim. Yet McQueen kept the classic in check. Sheen glazed on a gray plaid suit, the plastic coating on a preppy prince suit check, & taffeta-and-felt that turned scuba neoprene into the stuff of jackets and pea coats. Black ties and over coats with bizarre yet perfect statures. It is a mysteriously lavish men's collection.
